stuff

an oldish pic, taken at Mr House.
Back to Bristol tomorrow, via Wantage for lunch and Seend for dinner. Been a good weekend, busy at times, less so at others. A wedding and two receptions on Saturday kept me ceilidh dancing with random good-looking men till half-past-midnight, church on Sunday gave me a (complaining) chance to catch up with a couple of special people, dinner with my dad and lots of talk about weddings and films and other things, was a good evening, nothing went wrong even if there were a few startled faces at times, and it was lovely to see Carole again. Monday tea with a couple of friends from LCHS, and today I just popped into town to buy my train tickets. Been thinking about dissertation things again, and now I've got the chaplaincy alarm code hopefully I'll be able to settle down and get things done properly, I've had a dilemma going through my head all day but I think I've worked it out. Hope so, anyway, cause if not it'll be a nuisance. Didn't catch up with a couple of people I'd have liked to, but that's partly my own fault for not getting in touch in advance. NM. also didn't find the dress in Monsoon, I hope they have it in Oxford. Otherwise may have to try Bath, which has a good Monsoon. Discussed wedding things at intervals, hymns, favours, receptions, they've all come up, partly due to the weddings I went to where I picked up a variety of ideas and things to avoid. Been playing lots of piano, too. And frantically refreshing the BBC live cricket yesterday evening. And reading lots of Chalet School.
Managing to be very tired still, despite sleeping in. Guess it's cause I'm still going to bed late so getting up late doesn't make much difference. Must do something about that, like, force myself into and out of bed at sensible hours instead of 4am.
Must do dissertation, the sooner the better. meh.
Considering moving off lj and onto my own site, just cause it would mean I used it more. Maybe. Dunno. Maybe I'll just stay here. would have an rss feed if I did move. *shrug*
tired. Shouldn't be so tired, there's no good reason for it. Have much work, need to work out what to do about lit review as well as what to do about dissertation. Meh. Should stop whining too, no reason for that either.
